OutScout has partnered with the Executive team of a SaaS platform that is designed to empower all students on their way to degree completion and career success, to hire a Senior Product Designer for their team.
The Problem:
Today, 40% of students who enter college will get lost in navigating their degree requirements and drop out - which costs over $200B to institutions annually.
The Solution (Platform):
Their platform gives students a seamless and user-friendly experience to plan ahead and manage their progress throughout their time in higher education.
This then enables advisors and administrators to have access to student planning and progress data to help scale their support and allocate resources based on the students' needs.
Company: They are a team of ~60 people right now, with 2 on the Design team currently. They recently raised an $11M Series A, being utilized towards team growth, platform innovation, and growth among universities.
They currently work with ~70 universities, with a target to get to ~200 by this year. There are over 2800 universities in the US alone, providing lots of growth opportunity for the company in years to come.
Role:
As a Sr. Product Designer, you will own the end to end design experience for large product areas - work closely with the PMs to define and design experiences, and turn it into reality with their engineering team.
You'll report to their Director of Product Design.
This role will be hybrid 3 days per week in their San Mateo office.
Comp: They are targeting a base pay of $140K-$170K base + equity for this role.
