Familiar with both private label big box Retailers preferred.
Collaborate with Design, Merchandising, Technical Services, Production QA teams as well as company supplier base and other internal & external partners throughout the stages of the product development cycle.
Support team in managing vendors and new onboarding of vendors
Manage WIP report, give weekly updates on status and T&A calendar
Conduct strategic negotiations for cost, lead-time, delivery, quality terms for the company and bring closure in timely manner
What You'll Bring:
Support with Development and Production duties and work under VP Development/ Sourcing
Product Development / Production and Sourcing experience in the apparel industry
2+ years' experience in multiple categories such as knits and wovens
Solid knowledge of production processes, costing and logistics
Solid knowledge of technical requirements related to testing of fabric, trims, and garments
Solid knowledge of International Trade Law and US Apparel and Customs regulations Superior management skills, including the ability to provide leadership and motivation to junior and senior team members
Ability to prioritize and effectively manage workflow and projects
Self-Motivated, creative problem solver with a strong sense of urgency
Exceptional negotiation skills and communication skills
Ability to lead change Ability to travel as needed, including last-minute trips overseas
