Job Description:

Position Overview: As the Director of Total Rewards, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive compensation and benefits programs that align with our company's objectives and support our employees' well-being. With a primary focus on compensation management/transformation and benefits harmonization, you will play a pivotal role in attracting, retaining, and motivating top talent while ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Strategy Development: Develop and execute a total rewards strategy that supports the organization's goals, values, and culture. This includes establishing clear objectives, benchmarks, and metrics for success.
  2. Benefits Harmonization: Lead efforts to harmonize and optimize our benefits programs across all locations and employee groups, ensuring consistency, compliance, and cost-effectiveness. Evaluate current offerings, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to enhance the overall employee experience.
  3. Compensation Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of broad-based compensation programs, including salary structures, incentives (including equity), and recognition initiatives. Conduct regular market analyses to ensure competitive pay practices and alignment with industry standards.
  4. Employee Wellness Programs: Collaborate with HR and other stakeholders to develop and promote employee wellness programs that support physical, mental, and financial well-being. Evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for enhancements.
  5. Compliance and Governance: Stay abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices related to compensation and benefits. Ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal policies, and provide guidance to leadership on related matters.
  6. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors, consultants, and service providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality and cost-effective benefits and compensation solutions. Negotiate contracts and monitor performance to maximize value for the organization.
  7. Communication and Education: Develop communication strategies to effectively communicate the value of total rewards programs to employees. Provide education and training to managers and employees on compensation and benefits-related topics.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits management, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
  • Extensive knowledge of compensation principles, practices, and market trends.
  • Strong understanding of benefits design, administration, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with benefits harmonization initiatives across multiple locations or business units.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement total rewards strategies that drive employee engagement and retention.
  • Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) designation preferred.
