We are currently searching for a HR-Business Partner to join our North America business on a permanent basis to be based in our Centennial, Colorado office. As a HR professional, you will play a vital role in partnering strategically with and providing guidance to our leaders and line managers (both operational and functional) and employees on a range of areas to promote and support workforce engagement, high performing teams, employee relations, talent and development, performance management, and the application of HR Policies and Procedures across the United States.

About The Role - 26633 - HR Business Partner - United States (Centennial, CO)

The HR Business Partner works closely with our leaders to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives that align with the Orica's goals and values. The HR business partner acts as a consultant, advisor, and coach for the leaders and employees associated with our United States business.

This position will require you to report to the Centennial, CO office at least three days a week.

What you will be doing

  • Partner with leaders to understand the business objectives and challenges and provide strategic HR guidance and solutions.
  • Develop and execute HR programs and policies that support the organization's culture, vision, and values.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to leaders and employees on performance management, career development, succession planning, and employee relations.
  • Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Facilitate change management initiatives and support organizational transformation and growth.
  • Collaborate with other HR functions and stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of HR strategies and practices across the organization.
  • Stay updated on the latest HR trends, best practices, and legal compliance.

Travel - Up to 25% - including overnight trips and last-minute trips.

What you will bring

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources, preferably as an HR business partner or generalist, within a global organization.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and legal regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with leaders and employees at all levels.
  • Ability to think strategically, analytically, and creatively.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR software.
  • Professional certification in HR (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is a plus.

Compensation Range

  • $97,800 - $136,920
  • Eligible for annual short-term incentive plan

(Salary to be determined by the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
