Job Summary: Plans and implements specific treatment and educational programs for individual patients and families/significant others according to the principles and practices of physical therapy. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary treatment team when appropriate.

Qualifications:

Education: Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program.

Experience: One-two years experience preferred.

Other: Licensed as a Physical Therapy Assistant by the State of Ohio; BLS certification.

Administers individualized physical therapy programs in accordance with treatment plan as indicated by physical therapy assessment/reassessment.  Educate staff, other healthcare professionals and the general community about physical therapy services on a consistent basis.
