Metro One Loss Prevention Services Group is expanding globally and needs to hire security officers immediately to work in a corporate environment.

WORK SCHEDULES
6am - 2:30pm / 2pm - 10:30pm / 10pm - 6:30am shifts.

DRESS CODE:
Uniforms will be provided by Metro One.

DUTIES:
Monitoring access control and challenging those without proper identification.Maintaining the visitor management system, checking visitors, guests.Issuing badges and access cards and maintaining security logs.Monitoring a CCTV system.Vehicle and Foot patrols of the interior and exterior. Checking in authorized personnel onsite.Working a standing post for 8-hour shifts or longer.Ability to interact with the public in a direct and professional manner, strong interpersonal skills.

TO SUCCEED AT METRO ONE:
Have excellent interpersonal communication skills in customer service.High level of awareness, attentiveness, and alertness.Ability to de-escalate situations and remain calm in confrontation.Capable of standing for long periods of time and exhibiting physical strength.Astute observation and detailed notetaking/reporting.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Qualified candidates will possess one or more of the following:
Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Security Police, Corrections,) or any support role in a garrison or deployed area of operations)Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter fieldBachelor's degree in protective services, business, or related fieldA minimum of 4 or more years of active service in any military branch with an honorable, medical, or general dischargeAssociate degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service2 years verifiable data center security experience3 years verifiable private/corporate security experience
