Job Description:

The PC Technician I supports and maintains in-house computer systems, desktops, and peripherals. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal workstation performance.One to two (1-2) years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. High school diploma or GEDAssociate's degree in a related area preferred.Troubleshoots problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training and assistance where required.|Assists in preparing, maintaining, and upholding procedures for logging, reporting, and statistically monitoring PC performance.|Accurately documents instances of hardware failure, repair, installation, and removal.|Assists in developing long-term strategies and capacity planning for meeting future computer hardware needs.|Support development and implementation of new computer projects and new hardware installations.Troubleshoots problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training and assistance where required.|Assists in preparing, maintaining, and upholding procedures for logging, reporting, and statistically monitoring PC performance.|Accurately documents instances of hardware failure, repair, installation, and removal.|Assists in developing long-term strategies and capacity planning for meeting future computer hardware needs.|Support development and implementation of new computer projects and new hardware installations.
