About the Opportunity

The Executive Vice President (EVP), Chief Client Services Officer (CCSO) reports to the System CIO and has executive oversight for several customer and business-facing functions for System IT’s infrastructure, operations, and an end user services organization ensuring the success of more than 20,000 Federal Reserve Employees across the System. Additionally, this role serves as a partner with Federal Reserve business lines, Reserve Banks, and the U.S. Treasury. The CCSO is accountable for the execution of major infrastructure programs in support of the U.S. Department of Treasury. This leader will also play a pivotal role in managing our technology budget, working closely with the System IT CFO. The CCSO provides leadership in the development and maintenance of strategic plans, including System IT strategic initiatives, to support the dynamic business needs of the Federal Reserve System and the Treasury. The leader will also serve as one of the trusted partners to the System IT CIO and other key leaders across the Federal Reserve System. 

What You Will Do:


  • Provide strategic leadership for all client engagements. Develop trust-based relationships with business partners to fully understand their digital solutions needs, new technology, and infrastructure affordability. Uses diplomacy and relationships to advance results.


  • Culture-setter that ensures alignment of operating model, talent, and strategy to deliver innovative and trustworthy solutions to our partners.


  • Operationalize strategic goals and drive accountability across a vast spectrum of System-wide IT Initiatives.


  • Enable businesses to focus on innovation, operations, and strategy by focusing on “management of the business” for IT


  • Serve as a talent coach, mentor, builder and developer by creating an inclusive environment for team members to thrive and grow. 


  • Establish strong relationships with the executive leadership team across the Federal Reserve to deliver enterprise-wide solutions and partner with leaders from app dev, infrastructure and operations, and information security to deliver business results for the Federal Reserve System


  • Lead high-impact strategic programs and major change initiatives, including partnership with the Federal Reserve IT leaders on advancing cloud, product and agile operating model.


Qualifications:


  • Proven executive leadership experience leading large-scale digital transformation and technology implementations across a variety of functions (including app dev, cloud migration, cyber security, agile, etc.)


  • Expert in navigating complex customer environments and building strong alliances while delivering results.


  • Strong talent developer with record of building versatile leaders at all levels of the organization


  • Strong ability to influence and empower stakeholders and peers to be a part of a strategic change and digital transformation journeys


  • Knowledge and experience in running IT as a “business” with expertise in budget planning, financial management, and labor management, with ability to connect outcomes to return on investment


  • Excellent communicator (verbal and written) at all levels of the organization.

  • The hiring range for the Executive Vice President, Chief Client Services Officer role is $310,000 to $390,000.


  • Salary offered will be based on the job responsibilities and the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience as defined in the job qualifications/experience.


  • For candidates outside Richmond, VA, listed hiring and salary ranges may be adjusted based on your geographic location.
