Compensation Range

Annual Salary: $78,500.00 - $105,000.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)



About This Job



The Product Developer position is responsible for ensuring all upgrades, modifications, and installations meet the requirements of the business line and pass Unit Acceptance Testing. This position is responsible for products pertaining to the Paper Remittance product suite, which includes Remote Deposit, Image Cash Letter and Lockbox. The candidate should be able to work independently on multiple projects with long term goals and have a keen eye for detail. Communication skills will be imperative as they will work within teams including other business constituents including IT, Sales, Operations, Legal, and Compliance. The candidate will learn the technical background of the product suite, its architecture, and be able to identify future opportunities when they arise.



Essential Functions



  • Contribute to the development and implementation of product strategy and functionality with management oversight


  • Contribute to the development and implementation of all business initiatives and tasks


  • Maintain an open line of communication across multiple lines of business, including sales, marketing, operations and IT


  • Gain insight into customer needs and identify opportunities that solve market problems


  • Maintain a minimal level of understanding of the industry and competitive landscape related to the assigned product(s)


  • Facilitate task-based meetings, such as priority or status meetings.


  • Effectively participate in team meetings related to their product(s) and provide meaningful feedback and insights


  • Contribute to the product rollout (including customer conversion) alongside partners including Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product, IT, Customer Support,


  • Prepare and participate in monthly release


  • Work closely with development team to ensure functionality requirements are accurate and being completed in a timely manner


  • Perform other duties as assigned





Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required



  • Basic understanding of compliance and legal matters that impact their product and business definitions


  • Basic understanding of the business, competition, appropriate rule-making bodies, etc


  • Analytical thinker capable of problem identification and resolution


  • Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities


  • Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills


  • Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values


  • Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook





Education & Experience



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required


  • 2+ years product management or related experience required

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $78,500 to $105,000 annually. Depending on the job level, this position may be eligible for additional compensation through performance-based incentive plan(s) that will correspond to meeting performance goals.
