The group in question builds in multiple sectors, including healthcare, residential, commercial office, aviation, among others, with over $1 billion in annual revenue. As their business continues to grow, particularly within the cold storage and food manufacturing construction sector, the group are actively hiring a Senior Project Manager to join their team on a permanent basis in Chicago.



Your new role


As Senior Project Manager, you will provide overall management for pre-construction activities through to close out to ensure successful project completion. You will oversee two to three projects simultaneously where you will handle bidding, estimating, scheduling and job site supervision in conjunction with your Superintendent, ensuring client satisfaction is maintained. You will be responsible for making decisions and providing recommendations which can greatly impact corporate relationships with clients and the profitability of projects.



What you'll need to succeed


To apply for this Senior Project Manager position you will have a minimum of eight years experience as PM/SPM and will have a four-year BS in a construction related discipline. You must have experience managing cold storage /food manufacturing projects from inception to completion and will have a thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards and their impact on project activities.



What you'll get in return


You will be compensated in line with your experience with an indicative range of $120k to $160k (negotiable commensurate with relevant cold storage/food processing construction experience). On top of this, you will receive a sign on bonus, a comprehensive benefits package, 15 days PTO (negotiable) as well as a viable path to progress professionally.
