Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting resident rooms, common areas, hallways, and offices.


• Sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and floors, using appropriate cleaning agents.


• Empty trash bins and replace liners as needed.


• Clean and disinfect surfaces such as doorknobs, handrails, and light switches to prevent the spread of germs.


• Launder linens and towels according to facility procedures.


• Stock and maintain housekeeping carts with cleaning supplies.


• Monitor and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.


• Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to maintain a hygienic environment.


• Follow established protocols for handling and disposing of biohazardous waste.


• Assist with special cleaning projects and deep cleaning tasks as assigned.


• Respect residents' privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times.
