Assist in preparation of certain schedules and disclosures used in SEC reporting (10-Q and 10-K) and supporting tie-out procedures
Perform research to ensure that financial statements and disclosures are presented in accordance with GAAP and SEC requirements
Perform technical accounting research and prepare technical accounting memos
Coordinate with external auditors on various 10-Q and 10-K supporting schedules
Prepare interim and annual disclosure checklists and supplemental schedules to ensure compliance with requirements (GAAP, 10-K and SEC annual shareholders checklists)
Prepare sections of the Management's Discussion & Analysis (MD&A), working closely with FP&A and operational management
Contribute to ad-hoc projects which may include acquisition accounting and other technical accounting projects
Qualifications:
Certified Public Accounting (CPA)
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
4+ years of public accounting experience
Experience with SEC reporting and SOX compliance
Strong understanding of US GAAP
Detail-oriented and self-motivated
Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Experience in Workiva preferable but not required
