The O ak s Post Acute is a pristine 122 bed skilled nursing facility located in the heart of Orangeburg, SC. We are excited to share that we are operating under NEW OWNERSHIP with a new dynamic team! Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement engaging activities and programs for residents

  • Coordinate and schedule activities, ensuring a variety of options are available

  • Assess residents' needs and preferences to tailor activities to their interests

  • Provide support and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed

  • Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive and inclusive environment

  • Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of residents during activities

Qualifications:


  • Certified Activities Professional (CAP) - REQUIRED

  • Experience working with older adults in a Long term Care facility

  • Knowledge of aging issues, ADLs, and social work principles

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

  • Compassionate and patient demeanor
