CAD Designer Microstation at Arcadis U.S.Inc. in New York, New York

Job Description:

Arcadis has an immediate need for an engineering CAD Designer to join our New York/New Jersey PM/CM team. This will a Hybrid position.

Role description:

In this position, you will utilize your wealth of experience with very detailed 3D modelling using Microstation. Work on a wide variety of transit related projects from concept development, schematic development through the final designs for bid.

Role accountabilities:

• Develop plans for transit related facilities utilizing Microstation.
• Knowledge of NY MTA guidelines and standards.
• Includes plan preparation, drafting, and quantity calculations.

• 7 or more years of relevant work experience.
• Proficient with CAD, particularly Microstation.
• Familiarity with MTA design standards, specifications and policies.

• Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Be a self-motivated, team-oriented and flexible individual who possess the initiative and ability to tackle new projects and challenges.
• Must have the ability to work on multiple unique assignments simultaneously.

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000.
