RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Madison, WI that is seeking an Application Development Supervisor with a strong background in Microsoft .NET technologies and web development. In this role, the Application Development Supervisor will lead a team of developers, providing technical guidance and support, while actively contributing to development tasks. Responsibilities:


  • Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering a culture of excellence, creativity, and collaboration

  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members, assisting with problem-solving and decision-making

  • Conduct regular code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and maintain high-quality standards

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and deliver web development projects on time and within scope

  • Actively participate in development tasks using Microsoft .NET technologies, including C# and VB.NET, as well as web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like ASP.NET and Angular

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and technologies, advocating for the adoption of new tools and practices as needed

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the development team

  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee well-being







REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related work experience

  • 5+ years of software development experience, with expertise in Microsoft .NET technologies including C#, VB.NET, and web development

  • 3+ years of supervisory experience preferred

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate team members

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Experience with web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like ASP.NET and Angular

  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps for project management and source control






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
