Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a SDET (Java/RestAssured/SQL/Cucumber BDD) in Durham, NC.

Duties Include:

• SDET will be participating in the definition of system architecture and detailed solution design


• Writing concise and clear technical specifications based on analysis of complex business requirements


• As a SDET, you will be maintaining and supporting development environment while adopting industry standard methodologies and tools


• Performing manual validation and comparison of datasets between comparable platforms

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science


• Must have 6-10 years of solution design/development experience


• Must have ability to create and modify complex SQL queries


• Must have ability to write and debug code in Java/Spring


• Must have experience with API automation - Rest Assured, Postman


• Must be familiar with Behavior Driven Development (BDD)/Cucumber


• Must be able to identify test automation opportunities and drive automation initiative


• A strong analytical mind set; Ability to cut through vast detail and get to the critical points that makes a difference to the business


• Proven ability to integrate different components and technology together to build solid solutions


• Ability to work independently and deliver solid results consistently


• Good communication skills; Ability to mentor junior members of the team

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
