Payroll Administrator at Kforce Inc in Chesterfield, Missouri

Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Chesterfield, MO that is seeking a Payroll Administrator for a possible contract to hire role.

Responsibilities

• Data entry of manual timesheets into corporate timekeeping system


• Ensure documentation associated with payroll remains confidential and is updated, maintained, and stored


• Miscellaneous administrative duties including filing


• Primary contact for the HR staff regarding all payroll related activities


• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills and must be able to handle difficult people at all levels inside and outside of the company


• Coordinates all employee tax-related forms, statements and notices as needed by law


• Assists the Accounts Payable department as necessary

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or HR preferred


• Intermediate to Advanced Excel knowledge preferred


• High degree of professionalism and respect for confidentiality


• Attention to detail


• Proven ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
