Job Description

The Semi End User Account Manager position exists to fuel sales growth and market expansion for INFICON within a specific US territory's semiconductor fabrication facilities. This role aims to identify growth opportunities, promote INFICON product base such as Sensor Solutions, Industrial Engineering and Process Control software, Vacuum Control products, and Leak Detectors. Build strong customer relationships, and strategically align sales efforts with the company's objectives.

  • Responsible for strategically planning and implementing sales goals and objectives for the direct sales area, while also providing input to the Segment Manager regarding annual sales goals and non-numerical objectives for the sales area.
  • Ability to present and provide technical guidance to customers concerning the precise application of company products to fulfill their requirements.
  • Engages in comprehensive Account Management tasks, encompassing the preparation of quotes and correspondence, skilled negotiation of sales contracts, submission of forecasts, monthly reports, Key Account Plans, and any other requested information.
  • Provides feedback to Business Units on product introduction strategy, application needs, market trends, and competitive products. Assists in product line recommendations, pricing adjustments, and sales policy changes. Supports the development of territory sales and marketing plans while offering marketing assistance to the Business Line.
  • Support of various marketing activities including trade shows, strategic industry committees and marketing campaigns.


Qualifications

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the semiconductor industry, a thorough understanding of semiconductor processes, and a talent for establishing new customer connections while cultivating existing relationships to ensure prospective sales. Ability to articulate strategic plans that encompass an in-depth understanding of key stakeholders within respective accounts.
  • Strong presentation skills coupled with a solid technical grasp of INFICON's products and their potential applications. Plus, adeptness in identifying areas of concern in customer fabs where INFICON's product portfolio can offer effective issue resolution.
  • Exhibits adeptness with software tools, encompassing CRM and MS Office applications, while showcasing effective negotiation skills, a solid grasp of product installation history, and adeptness in project tracking to proactively tackle potential challenges.
  • Candidates with experience in government bidding and contract writing, as well as familiarity with NIST and government proposal writing, are preferred
  • Must have the ability to work independently, travel, and possess strong customer engagement skills.


Additional Information

For New York, the expected salary range for this position is between $75,000 and $130,000 per year. In addition, INFICON employees are eligible for a profit sharing bonus with a target of 10%.  The actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law
