JOB SUMMARY

The Program Manager shall have comprehensive knowledge of principles, policies and practices of systems acquisition and program management, as well as knowledge of roles and relationships within the DoD and the Air Force. Individual has the knowledge of support activities that assist the program manager in assessing what programs are within schedule and cost baselines, be able to recommend viable solutions to problems and the pursuit of alternative courses of action. Individual shall be able to plan, research, analyze and assess system acquisition in terms of development, production and deployment of weapons systems and associated equipment; formulate plans and recommend effective strategies in meeting cost, schedule, and performance objectives. Program Manager shall be able to support and develop acquisition reports, including statutory and regulatory reports (i.e. DAES, MAR, etc.). Support program management reviews, senior level meeting/reviews and IMP/IMS reviews. Program Manager shall be able to support and develop various briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks to senior management, support program management reviews, senior level meeting/reviews and IMP/IMS reviews. They will also support implementation and execution of agile software development processes in concert with Government and Prime Contractors.


This position supports the AF DCGS program at Robins AFB, GA.

  • Provide analysis of high-level programmatic duties, responsibilities and data in support of the AF DCGS ACAT programs, enterprise, engineering and branch level projects.
  • Support the government customer in an advisory role to the IPT based on an understanding of current AF DCGS status.

Requirements:

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assess and communicate activities (in a timely manner, and in order of priority) to the IPT staff and in line with government direction.
  • Consolidate and provide information from databases containing program data that includes requirements management, cost, schedule and performance, and tracking to budget constraints and authorizations.
  • Interpret financial information.
  • Analyze project data to recommend best COAs, budget, and OEM management.
  • Coordinate all programmatic documentation of record
  • Maintain, monitor and provide annual contract budget data to include CCaRS, ABSS, Requirements, Purchase Requests, RAITs, Earned Value Reports, and annual CLS updates and inputs.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • MA/MS with 12 years programmatic experience with 5 years DoD experience OR
  • BA/BS with 15 years programmatic experience with 5 years DoD experience OR
  • Certifications with 20 years programmatic experience with 8 years DoD experience.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have a minimum of an active U.S. SECRET clearance and be subject to a government security investigation.
  • Driving or renting a car for company business is expected with some frequency. For insurance purposes, a valid driver's license is required.
  • Must be a US Citizen.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds, at times.

TRAVEL REQUIRED

  • Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position for meetings, trainings, and/or site visits.
