Production Coordinator - Oral Care
Technical, Inventory, and Review and Reconciliation of Production Records

This position reports into Oral Care Business Unit Manager and is based at the Lititz, PA Production Facility.

Role reports to: Oral Care Business Unit Manager

Location: Lititz, PA

What You Will Do

Responsible for identifying and prioritizing production requirements and coordinating the flow of materials, parts and assemblies to meet production schedules. Review, audit, and reconcile utilization of materials and components for production order.

Key Responsibilities:

Batch Record Review:

• Analyzes production data and prepares reports.

• Review and reconciles materials and components in executed Batch Records

• Investigates, develops trends, and proposes data-based solution based on Historian analysis and data

• Acts as the SME of the department for BRR Review

• Compiles and prioritizes work orders for comparison to available finished units and fulfillment.

• Establishes a collaboration and partnership with Quality for accurate and efficient release of orders

• Delivers on required BRR cycle time

• Ensures records are reviewed and corrected are made in a timely and accurate manner

Production Scheduling:

• Confers with department supervisors and reviews master production schedules, work orders, departmental production schedules and related information to determine material and labor requirements.

• Monitors assembly line schedule and releases jobs to floor on a timely basis to maintain efficient production.

• Reviews progress reports concerning status and downtime due to failures of machines and equipment and apprises production planning personnel of production delays.

• Coordinate inbound pullbacks from DCs

• Coordinate rework, inspections, and other Business Unit needs

• Coordinate execution of waste transfer forms, destruction notices, and other BU documentation

Inventory Management:

• Performs material availability analysis to determine material and supply requirements.

• Assess systems and practice to maintain appropriate inventory levels for the Business Units. Identifies reasons that require inventory adjustments and correcting the cause.

• Performs physical inventory counts.

• Updates work order statuses and identifies shortages to management.

Continuous Improvement

• Represents the BU and acts as the BU's SME in various continuous improvement processes and initiatives

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications
• Associates degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience or Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 1 years of experience in Operations / Manufacturing / Packaging or similar technical background is required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written communication in the English language is required.
• Intermediate math (computational) ability is required.
• Strong analytical and technical writing skills are required.
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.
• Proficient in use of computerized systems

Desired Qualifications:
• Experience with SAP, MES, or other Manufacturing production systems is preferred
• A minimum of one (1) years' experience in GMP environments is preferred.
• Previous manufacturing and packaging experience is preferred.
