CORE JOB SUMMARY
The Case Worker 2 (H) monitors outcomes, data collection, and record keeping, and coordinates services for the respective population, including providing information about professional development opportunities, quality improvement strategies, and counseling to improve the client's social and psychological conditions. The Case Worker 2 (H) assists those experiencing difficult situations by helping them find the community resources/services that they need contributes to the development of family support plans and monitors its implementation and modification.
CORE JOB FUNCTIONS
Conducts situational analysis, which may be at home and/or office visits, mentors, and provides technical assistance as needed. Collaborates with the service agencies and program leadership to provide and administer services appropriately. Develops and provides training to family support networks and/or care providers on various topics related to quality early care and education. Maintains and reviews records and files to ensure compliance with project guidelines. Collaborates with all funding sources to ensure the availability of adequate resources. Maintains current knowledge of services available and changes applicable rules and regulations. Attends meetings and training, which may include the Early Learning Coalition, United Way, and the Quality Counts Career Center to enhance developmental potential. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.
