The University of Miami, Department of Sociology and Criminology, is soliciting applications for individuals interested in possible part-time teaching positions (maximum two courses in a semester). Ph.D. in Sociology or related discipline required by time of appointment. At least one year's experience in college teaching preferred. Duties include teaching undergraduate courses in Sociology and Criminology, and participating in various departmental activities. An appointment/offer is contingent upon student demand (enrollments) and available funding, with the possibility that final confirmation will not be available until classes begin.
