The department of Clinical Engineering has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Biomedical Technician 2 to work at UHealth. The Biomedical Technician 2 performs a variety of routine tasks, including the installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of biomedical equipment with minimum supervision.

Minimum Qualifications





  • Associate Degree in a related field


  • If no degree or Military training in a related field, you will be required to have a Biomedical Equipment Technician Certificate.


  • If an associate degree, a minimum of two years of relevant experience


  • If no associate degree, a minimum of four years of relevant experience, or


  • Military training in biomedical technician or equivalent, with at least two years of relevant experience.





Knowledge, Skills, and Attitudes:



  • Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.


  • Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.


  • Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.


  • Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary.


  • Commitment to the University's core values.


  • Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment.
