Position Overview:


This role entails conducting routine environmental monitoring within aseptic processing and controlled area cleanroom environments essential for pharmaceutical manufacturing. The incumbent will also execute assigned quality control or quality assurance tasks in adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).


Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate proficient aseptic technique during testing of controlled environments and utility systems.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of quality tasks.
- Adapt to shifting priorities and schedules while maintaining flexibility.
- Attend mandatory training sessions as required by site regulatory mandates and management.
- Support investigations as needed.
- Fulfill other general duties as assigned by supervision.
- Uphold a safe and high-quality working environment by adhering to safety and quality guidelines and SOPs, and by facilitating training and awareness.
- Ensure operational compliance with regulatory standards from both domestic and international agencies such as the FDA, EU, HC, TGA, PIC/S, ISO, USP, NRC, and cGMP.
- Maintain the department, premises, and equipment to prescribed standards.
- Execute all necessary testing within specified deadlines with confidence and consistency.
- Utilize laboratory equipment and techniques including SAS, SMA, Met One particle counter, viable airborne monitoring (active and passive), total airborne particulate sampling, viable surface monitoring, personnel monitoring, and membrane filtration of water samples.


Qualifications:
- Associate degree with relevant work experience or completion of a Bachelor of Science degree in a life sciences field of study.
- Preferably possess relevant experience.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient in computer skills, including personal computers and data entry programs.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively to achieve objectives.
- Demonstrates flexibility, teamwork, high energy levels, and consistent attendance.
