We are seeking a motivated Marketing Intern to join our team for a comprehensive, 10-week paid summer internship program. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing within the context of the technology market research industry. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, the Marketing Intern will have the opportunity to learn about various aspects of marketing initiatives that generate results.

This role is ideally based in IDC’s Needham, MA headquarters with a hybrid work schedule. We will also consider qualified candidates in approved East Coast US remote locations.

Responsibilities

Work closely with our North America Demand Generation team to support various initiatives that will include:

  • Support maintenance and organization of internal asset libraries, Sharepoint sites, etc.
  • Support development of sales enablement assets and tools (PowerPoints, one sheets, etc.)
  • Provide additional support to the marketing team as needed, including project management assistance for global marketing leadership


Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Degree program
  • A desire to launch a Marketing career
  • Prior marketing internship experience a plus, not required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Attention to detail and organization
  • Positive and proactive attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights

Salary range and additional compensation, including discretionary bonuses and incentive pay, are determined by a rigorous review process. The expected compensation, depending on education level, is between $22-$25/hour for undergrads and $30-35/hour for graduate students.
