What You Will Do



Provides engineering services and project management services through the development of ideas and concepts into detailed engineering specifications, drawings, and proposals. To provide for the design, improvement, and installation of equipment, systems, material, processes, working conditions. Creates new designs and modifications of systems to reduce costs, improve quality, increase efficiency, meet sales forecasts, compete in the market place, solve obsolescence issues, and meet safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates operating, quality, safety, and environmental improvements by developing project requirements, concepts, engineering designs, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Prepares and presents the capital budget request items by establishing the criteria for the implementation, the justification of the projects, the costs, and the schedule for completion.
  • Advises management of the project status by communicating plans, scheduling and coordinating projects, and monitoring spending
  • Analyzes and devises means for the application of new equipment and systems by establishing operating conditions, devising performance tests, recording and analyzing results, modifying components and parts, and recommending changes
  • Recommends and executes the purchase of equipment, services, and systems by dealing with responsible parties, communicating with various department personnel, and collaborating with engineering department associates.
  • Perform project management, analytics, and measure to ensure milestones are met and deliverables achieved.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to analyze project results and performance.
  • Collaborate with Global Engineering iniatives
  • Remains informed of the latest technology, regulations and environmental requirements by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies.



Qualifications




Required Minimum Qualifications:


Education: Bachelor's degree

Degree Field: Engineering

Work Experience: 5+ years

Related work Experience: Experience in Project Management


Preferred Qualification:


Education: Master's degree

Degree Field: Engineering

Work Experience: 7+ years

Related work Experience: Project Management CAPex type projects > $500,000



Work Environment and Physical Demand




  • Lift, carry, push, pull, install, or remove objects weighing 10-50lbs
  • Reach and grasp objects/ hand eye coordination
  • Stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and crawl
  • Standing for extended period of times
  • Identify and distinguish shades of color

  • Proofread and check documents for accuracy
  • Work with equipment or preform procedures where carelessness may result in injury
  • Work a fluctuating schedule
