(Contingent upon available funding): 54,000.00 - 73,000.00, Salary Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00-5:00. Some evening and weekend hours required. Faculty Appt Period: Job Summary: The Coordinator of Marketing Strategy has primary responsibility for leading strategic Brand Management initiatives, campaigns and events to see them through to success, leading web and digital writing projects for partner departments and will be a strategic liaison for key partners, campuses, divisions and departments.The role will work within Oklahoma State University's Department of Brand Management and use project management, as well as writing and editing skills to help implement OSU's strategic marketing and communications plan which prioritizes advancing the university's strategy, priorities and reputation management.The Coordinator of Marketing Strategy will utilize skills in campaign planning, digital marketing, content prioritization and copywriting to enhance OSU's reputation as well as brand awareness among key target audiences. This position supports the university's strategic priorities across channels including print advertising, digital advertising, email marketing, social media, web writing, feature stories and more.About our team:The Department of Brand Management oversees all representations of the Oklahoma State University brand. Our areas of expertise include media relations, crisis communications, internal/external messaging, branding, advertising, recruitment communications, visual media, digital strategy and more. This department aims to advance OSU's land-grant mission and demonstrate its global impact through creative communications that support student success, elevate brand reputation, engage the Cowboy family, and serve the state of Oklahoma and beyond. Minimum Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, English or a related field. Three years of related work experience in content creation, event planning, editing, publishing and campaign management. Indirect or direct management experience preferred.


Ability to work cross-functionally with supervisors, unit staff and campus partners to ensure collaborative environment, coordinated efforts and maximized outcomes. Must learn quickly and demonstrate flexibility in the work environment. Exhibit strong attention to detail as well as the ability to effectively manage multiple assignments with different priorities and tight deadlines. Demonstrate creativity, integrity and passion for growing the brand of Oklahoma State University. Demonstrate strong supervisory skills when indirectly or directly managing key team members that have a direct impact on partner or internal department success. Exhibit exceptional problem solving skills in a creative environment.
