Objectives of this Role:
Loads and unloads packages from vehicle. Makes on-campus deliveries to buildings and from division stockrooms. Ensures material correlates with the corresponding paperwork. Picks up paperwork etc., from divisions for distribution in central receiving.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
Will assist in daily deliveries from the Cafeteria to various campus building.
Will assist in the Mailroom sorting mail and making campus mail deliveries.
Will cross train to learn other job functions.
Responsible for maintaining company vehicle and up keep of those records, keeps record files.
Performs other duties as assigned, or required in order to meet cost center goals.
Complies with all Safety Regulations and standards.
Requirements:
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
Have a good driving record.
2+ years: Receiving experience.
Be attentive to detail; work accurately under pressure; effectively communicate with Institute staff, vendors, etc., on the telephone and in person; be able to lift and move, sort objects up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
Able to work in outside/inside hot and cold temperatures. Be able to use a personal computer, Telephone, copier, fax.
A valid/clear driver's license is required.
