Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Oracle SQL Developer within our team. This position is Remote.
Key Responsibilities:
Support development, test, and production environments using the latest version of Oracle 19c and MongoDB
Commanding knowledge and hands-on working experience with complex/large database packages, procedures, functions, and triggers with
Oracle Database 11g R2 or higher.
Modify database schema design as needed including partitioning
Implement best practices and recommend tools to manage database schemas
Design, develop and implement as needed archiving of production data
Identify potential issues and limitations; monitor and improve performance
Develop and maintain procedures to optimize application availability
Suggest improvements in database infrastructure where appropriate
Capacity planning
Diagnose issues in complex application architectures
Evaluate and solicit feedback on processes to identify possible areas of improvement for optimizing transactions
Perform impact analyses of changes to database schema objects
Work closely and provide technical support to applications developers on new and existing Oracle systems
Build and maintain stored procedures, packages, triggers and views
Provide technical assistance with custom development and configuration table support
Perform knowledge transfer in the areas of Oracle DBA, Oracle SQL, and PL-SQL programming and performance monitoring
Candidates must possess 8 years of hands-on work experience in Oracle, PL/SQL, and related DBA activities.
Commanding knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL. Experience in Toad/ SQL Developer.
Qualifications:
6+ Years of Hands-on working experience with complex/large database packages, procedures, SQL queries, functions, and triggers with Oracle Database 19C
Candidate must be able to work independently on complex development/Enhancements and Configuration setup with reference tables across database instances
Unix and SFTP understanding
Understanding of Oracle APEX, BI Publisher, JavaScript, HTML, and Apache Server a plus
3+ years of experience working with MongoDB
Deep understanding of MongoDB architecture and technology
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
Strong experience with a programming language commonly used with MongoDB (such as JavaScript, Python, or Java)
Understanding of database management systems
Proficiency in MongoDB and its associated technologies (such as the MongoDB query language and MongoDB aggregation framework)
Ability to work well in a team
Strong communication skills
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current annual range is $ $80,800 to $129,300.
