Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Expert Project Manager to join our Justice Center for People with Special Needs located in Delmar, NY.



Key Responsibilities:



Day to day includes:

  • Developing project artifacts

  • Facilitating stakeholder meetings to elicit feedback

  • Eliciting requirements from stakeholders

  • Facilitating/Participating in JAD sessions

  • Tracking and reporting project status

  • Communication and reporting

  • Risk and issue management

  • Scope management

  • Enterprise change management

  • Developing project business cases

  • Performing other project management tasks as needed




Qualifications:



84+ months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.



Desirable Qualifications:



  • 84 Months of Experience in project management that includes experience across continuum of delivery methodologies: predictive, iterative, incremental, and agile

  • 60 Months of Experience facilitating meetings with internal and external stakeholders including Executives, Business Users, and Developers

  • 36 months Experience working on Enterprise Change Management strategies, plans, and activities designed to prepare and support people to adopt to changes in business processes, systems and technology, and organization structures

  • 48 Months of Experience working with stakeholders to determine and define project objectives and scope including criteria for success

  • 48 Months of Experience evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions by leading elicitation sessions with executives, managers, developers, and subject matter experts using variety of information gathering methods such as interviews, documentation analysis, surveys, site visits, business models

  • 48 Months of Experience creating reports, presentations, and business cases and presenting information to leadership and/or other stakeholders

  • 24 Months of Experience contributing to the establishment of PMO standards, processes, and internal controls including establishing SDLC

  • 24 Months of Experience using ServiceNow Project module

  • 24 Months of Experience working in State Government

  • Bachelor's Degree

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current annual range is $52.00 to $62.00
