Who You'll Work With


Slalom Seattle is hiring a D&A AWS Capability Leader, and open to levels including Principal, Senior Principal. This unique role will focus on business and practice development, relationship management, engagement delivery, and people management. In this role, you'll advise and partner with clients on solving their business challenges by leveraging the latest technology and data driven approaches. We enable our clients to learn from their data, create incredible digital experiences, and make the most of new technologies. What You'll Do



  • Grow the Practice- Drive growth of the AWS capability through a combination of delivery work, collaboration, and offering development. Accountable to set vision and plan to grow consultants, drive project pipeline, and manage project delivery across the AWS Data Engineering portfolio.


    • Business Development- Partner with Slalom colleagues across Slaloms full suite of capabilities and account teams to nurture executive-level relationships.


    • Team & Personal Development- Develop your AWS delivery team's abilities through people centric approach growing technical, consulting, and management skills. Stay ahead of the curve, bringing the latest offerings to grow the next generation of data advisors.


    • Engagement Management- Manage our most complex and strategic engagements. Ensure project success and client satisfaction through thoughtfulness and focus on client outcomes. Manage engagement risk and project economics, including planning and budgeting, defining deliverable content, and ensuring buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client.



  • Create, qualify, and drive early-stage sales opportunities across new and existing clients to build AWS project pipeline by working with account teams, partner teams, and your professional network drive this need.

  • Deliver on strategic billable client projects meeting a 40%-60% utilization target.


What You'll Bring

  • Demonstrated success building a professional services business, specifically in data architecture and engineering solutions.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to persuasively articulate Slalom's value as a partner

  • Experience building and delivering solutions with AWS Data Platform Engineering services, as well as building custom solutions using IaaS services

  • Excellent collaboration and cross functional team orchestration, organization, prioritization, problem solving and negotiation skills.

  • Keen sense of the consulting business model and project lifecycle. Self-starting entrepreneurial mindset continuously looking for growth opportunities for slalom, our consultants, and our clients.

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.For this position, the base salary pay range is $153,000 to $257,000 and the targeted base salary range is $175,000-$210,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
