Position Summary:



Are you an experienced and technical laboratory sales professional who enjoys helping customers achieve their clinical, operational and financial goals? If you are, then this is the role for you! As a Senior Product Specialist-Specialty Diagnostics, you will support our Fisher Healthcare selling team and customers, driving revenue growth within a defined territory for our innovative specialty diagnostics portfolio. This is done primarily by using the phone, email and virtual conferencing tools, but you will also have the ability to travel to customers as needed (25%).



Key Responsibilities:



  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience via a consultative virtual and in-person sales process focused on supporting our customers with their laboratory goals

  • Support multiple sales representatives by providing information specific to our diagnostics portfolio, including technical information/presentations, product recommendations for customer applications, and other technical support

  • Develop, present and implement sales strategies and plans to expand business with new customers within assigned territory using slaesforce.com and PowerBI tools for effective customer and business strategy management

  • Continuously improve knowledge of the clinical chemistry, immunoasay and microbiology market, its trends and our competitors

  • Independently make decisions while using available resources to meet customer needs

  • Work with a cross-functional team of supplier and internal resources

  • Positively represent Thermo Fisher Scientific at all times throughout customer locations


Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:



  • 3+ years of sales or laboratory experience, preferably in clinical diagnostics

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in the sciences, M.S. preferred or equivalent work experience

  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills

  • Consistent track record of strong performance

  • Computer proficiency in MS Office and the internet

  • Must be willing and able to travel 25% to meet with our customers

Compensation & Benefits:



The salary range estimated for this position is $74,300 - $111,425 annualized. This position will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. Actual compensation will be confirmed in writing at the time of offer.

The salary range estimated for this position based in Colorado is $75,700.00-$113,500.00.
