How you will make an impact:




The US Pricing Operations team supports the CCG division (both RSD and HMD). Our function is responsible for providing oversight and support for our fast-paced, innovative and US sales teams. By leading audit activities such as data analytics to support compliance, proactive pricing audits and supporting sales audit requests, you will help shape the success of our business areas for senior leaders and the sales teams. You will develop a robust skill set as part of this fast-paced function by interacting with a broad number of internal business partners and building organizational capabilities to drive transactional excellence, accuracy, profitability & customer satisfaction. The work of this team is dynamic with high-visibility and impact to our diverse customers, providing you an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experiences and professional growth.

What you will do:




  • Fulfill customer requirements for routine and special-request pricing audits. Researches pricing discrepancies (perceived or otherwise); supports salesperson in communicating audit results to customer

  • Continually audits pricing systems to ensure customer price agreements are properly executed. This includes supplier rebate agreements as well as customer pricing in the HC & Research pricing systems. Special focus is given to price agreements requiring system workarounds

  • Learn and understand the late rebate process and provide support as needed

  • Prepare ad-hoc analysis to support management decisions including variance analysis, as well as in root cause data interpretation

  • Provide business partnering and commercial finance support to senior leadership

  • Participate in projects and initiatives to drive process improvements



Education/ Experience




  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2+ years of relevant working experience

  • Educational equivalency with additional years of related working experience may be considered



Knowledge, Skills, Abilities




  • Detail oriented, organized and strong analytical & reporting skills

  • Advanced database and spreadsheet skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills, proficient verbal and written communication skills

  • A contracts and audit background is desirable

  • Knowledge of Fisher pricing methodology and data structures is helpful

  • Self-motivated, higher level of flexibility and strong work ethic with the goal to get the job done

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify process and control gaps and champion improvement initiatives through Practical Process Improvement (PPI)

  • Exhibit leadership, initiative, and the Thermo Fisher Scientific 4-I values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement



Travel requirements




  • Less than 5% domestic/international travel required
