We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Insurance Customer Service Representative. United Bank is searching for driven individuals who are focused on building relationships with our customers by meeting their financial objectives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Day to day responsibility for answering phones and properly routing calls. Respond to client inquiries, incoming e-mail, mail, and company requests in accordance with agency guidelines. Attaching of carrier transactions into our agency document management system each day for both commercial and personal clients. Recording and reporting insurance claims, ensure proper documentation, and follow up as necessary. Responding to carrier memos in relation to inspections, surveys, and appraisals for both new business and renewal business. Participate in courses for insurance/sales skills and keep current with industry trends. Undertakes special projects relating to departmental services as assigned. Responsible for areas of compliance as it relates to this position. Undertakes special projects relating to departmental services as assigned.

Preferred qualifications:


  • High school diploma or GED equivalent;

  • 3 to 6 months related experience and/or training;

  • Regular standing and walking;

  • Utilizing hands & arms;

  • Ability to talk & hear.
