Job Description:

Eurofins MET Laboratories is searching for an EMC Technician in Austin, TX.

Eurofins MET Laboratories, Inc. is one of the Nation's leading laboratories for the testing and certification of electronic and electrical products. We are a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) and have been serving clients for over 50 years.

EMC Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :

• Responsible for setting up and executing, evaluating, and documenting tests.

• Conduct tests and all related tasks.

• Serve as lead engineer for projects assigned.

• Complete related tasks assigned by lab manager.

The ideal candidate would possess :

• Ability to work second shift and evenings/weekends overtime as needed

• Experience working in electronics lab highly preferred

• Ground, vehicular, aircraft, and shipboard electrical power.

• Strong verbal and written communication

• Ability to solve electrical, electronic, and EMC technical problems.

Basic Minimum Qualifications :

• AA, Technical School, or equivalent work experience required

• Experience in electronics testing lab and/or electronics testing equipment

• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Austin, TX are encouraged to apply.
