Summary/Objective:
This position is a support role within the VDC (Virtual Design Construction) department. The primary duty of this position will be to prepare our virtual design team's 3D models for production, fabrication, and installation. These documents will be used throughout our manufacturing and building process on all of our projects.
Essential Functions:
Produces drawings using recent releases of at least one of the Autodesk or other products (Revit, AutoCAD, Fabrication CADMEP, Trimble) to specified standards
Prepares construction drawings and associated documentation for purchasing, manufacturing, and installation
Completes drawing/modeling including: model preparation, some modeling, spooling, piece numbering, annotating, and dimensioning
Works directly under a supervisor picking up redlines, making corrections, and noting changes for as-built drawings
Develops full sets of construction "shop" drawings, "spool" drawings, and "field" drawings
Inputs data into the manufacturing facility's various workflow & tracking platforms
May on occasion make site visits to support fabrication/ installation integration via the Trimble field technologies group and the Robotic Total Stations
Performs other duties as assigned

Required:
3+ years of related experience and/ or training using at least one of Autodesk 2018 or greater products; or equivalent combination of education and experience (preferably in a construction environment)
High school diploma, GED, or approved school documentation
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, & Outlook)
Be able to take direction and work independently, while working in a strong team environment
Ability to read and interpret instructions, correspondence, memos, and construction documents
Ability to work on a computer for extended and continuous periods of time
Must be able to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, follow written and oral instructions, show attention to detail and demonstrate problem-solving skills
Must be able to pass post-offer pre-employment drug screen, and may be required to satisfactorily complete additional background checks as required (i.e. DMV, criminal history)
Must adhere to all company policy and procedures
Must be available, and have the means to report to multiple job sites as assigned, to include working varying schedules that may require extended hours (evenings, weekends and holidays) and require client-specific safety standards
