We are seeking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Maintenance Manager to join our team. The idea candidate will oversee all maintenance and repair activities working with the Heavy Equipment Maintenance Supervisors to ensure that the repairs and maintenance of all company equipment is being completed in a safe and timely manner according to company standards. The Maintenance Manager will be consistently reviewing and auditing all maintenance programs in order to ensure success of the equipment maintenance department.
Pay Range: Salary ($90,000 to $140,000)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Self-motivated, highly competitive, and results-oriented with a proven and documented history of success.
Oversee the Fleet Preventative Maintenance & Inspection Program by regularly reviewing and auditing processes/procedures to ensure that the maintenance employees are performing quality inspections/repairs, documenting all repairs, and making process alterations as needed.
General supervision of heavy equipment mechanics and lube technicians.
Prioritize workload according to safety factors & operational needs and ensures workload is evenly distributed.
Review productivity levels and the progress of all repairs.
Oversee and monitor equipment compliance by ensuring daily inspections of all company equipment & vehicles that are governed by the Federal and State regulatory agencies (Federal Motor Carrier, CHP).
Monitors BIT programs to ensure they are done on time consistent with all regulatory DOT requirements.
Maintain safe work environment by ensuring safe work practices are followed.
Conduct weekly/monthly safety meetings.
Administer company policy and procedures and promote positive employee relations.
Ensures proper parts inventory management and organization. Performs regular inspections to guarantee processes are being followed.
Review Timesheets and approve employee work hours for shop employees
Maintain a weekly, daily, and monthly milestone schedule based on task hierarchy
Review all purchase orders for shop employees
Inspect work logs and ensure employees are staying on task
Point of Contact for any off-hour’s items that may need to be resolved
Prepares maintenance schedules for motor vehicles and heavy equipment; notifies drivers and operators when maintenance will occur.
Maintains DOT maintenance and repair records for company vehicles and equipment.
Oversees shop inventory, and orders parts, shop supplies, and equipment.
Ensures all applicable safety standards and regulations are followed in the facility.
