The Assistant Director of Stewardship and Scholarships provides direction for the management and awarding of University, donor-funded scholarships utilizing Blackbaud Award Management Software (BAM). This includes managerial oversight of BAM and the scholarship award process. This position will be the primary resource for scholarship related questions from gift officers, campus partners, students, and donors. The Assistant Director will assist with the creation of annual reports for restricted and endowed scholarship fund donors. The position will create and manage necessary auditing processes to ensure the appropriate and on-time awarding of donor-funded scholarships and fund data integrity. The Assistant Director will work in close collaboration with the Associate Director of Stewardship & Reporting to ensure accurate scholarship data reporting and annual process review and streamlining, Similarly, this position will work in collaboration with the Assistant Director of Endowment Services to track, manage and execute fund activation and utilization for donor-funded endowments and restricted funds. The Assistant Director will serve as the primary point person between University Advancement and the Office of Financial Assistance to ensure timely awarding of donor funded scholarships and will be a partner to scholarship awarding units and programs across campus. The Assistant Director assists University Advancement to ensure that all scholarship selection criteria are appropriate and nondiscriminatory.
