Position Overview:
Our client is currently seeking a Mid-Level Corporate Attorney to join their esteemed team in Houston, Texas. This role offers the chance to work on complex corporate transactions, advising clients on a diverse range of matters including mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, securities offerings, and corporate governance.
Responsibilities:
Provide expert legal counsel on corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures.
Draft and negotiate transactional documents such as purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, and related contracts.
Conduct thorough due diligence reviews and analysis in connection with corporate transactions.
Offer guidance on securities law compliance and corporate governance issues.
Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive legal solutions to clients.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Active membership in good standing with the Texas State Bar or eligibility for admission by motion.
3-5 years of experience practicing corporate law at a reputable law firm or in-house legal department.
Strong background in transactional work, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and securities offerings.
Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills with keen attention to detail.
