Starting at $17.94/hr. with $1.00/hr. night premium when working from 6:00 pm to 6:00 pm. A sign-on bonus of $500.00 after 90 days and $1,000.00 after one year of employment.




DFA Pollockhas an immediate opening for Table/Tower Assistant.No experience required; training provided. This position will work Monday–Thursday from 5:00 am-3:00 pm and Fridays from 5:00 am-1:00 pm. Saturdays and Sundays are normally scheduled off. Hours can vary slightly depending on production volumes.


The Table/Tower Assistant is responsible for helping maintain a smooth operation on the cheese production floor.



JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES



. Ability to handle 40–50-pounds.


. Giving allotted breaks to the Table Operator, Tower Operator, and Scale Operator


. Assemble, operate, and disassemble cheese production equipment as necessary


. Assist the Table Operator with maintaining the cheese tables as directed by the Table Operator including shoveling table ends, moving auger, cutting up rework etc.


. Maintain floor foamers solution


. Maintain wash tank as required


. Assist in maintaining a clean work area on the Make Floor as well as the Packaging Area


. Maintain safe working conditions and dedicate effort to safety as we expect every employee to leave work in the same condition as they arrive


. Sanitizing Production Floor areas a minimum of twice a day


. Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP’s)


. Attend required training, hands on as well as online

Pollock is in a small community on beautiful Lake Oahe on the North and South Dakota border. The plant runs 24 hours 5 days a week and is a non-union plant that consists of around 40 employees.
