We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Intellectual Property Attorney to join our thriving practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in intellectual property law, with expertise in patent prosecution, trademark registration, and intellectual property litigation. Responsibilities:
Provide legal counsel and strategic advice to clients on matters related to intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.
Draft, review, and prosecute patent and trademark applications before the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and other relevant authorities.
Conduct intellectual property searches and evaluations to assess the novelty and registrability of inventions and trademarks.
Assist clients in developing and implementing intellectual property protection strategies, including licensing agreements, enforcement actions, and portfolio management.
Represent clients in intellectual property disputes, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
Stay updated on developments in intellectual property law and industry trends to provide informed advice and guidance to clients.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in the state of California.
Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing intellectual property law, with a focus on patent prosecution and/or trademark registration.
Registered to practice before the USPTO (patent bar admission) is preferred.
Strong analytical, research, and writing skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
