Corporate IT Support Intern at Fareway Stores Inc in Boone, Iowa

Job Description:

The Corporate IT Support Internship will support the Corporate Support team with day-to-day operations, IT documentation, setup, installation, and configuration of endpoint systems. The 2024 Corporate IT support Internship duration is anticipated to be from July 2024 thru October 2024, or mutually agreed upon timeframe.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepare and deploy endpoint equipment in preparation for the opening of the new Johnston
Headquarters.
• Install docks, monitors, and mounts, run cabling for said devices.
• Test new hardware functionality following installation.
• Document relevant deployment information.
• Assist users with their endpoint setups as they move to the new headquarters.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Requirements:
• Basic technical aptitude in the following: Networking, Information Security, Windows 10, and Microsoft.
• Current college or university student, or recent graduate.
• Team-oriented/strong interpersonal skills.
• Assertiveness and initiative.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Additional Details:
• Internship is a paid opportunity.
• Internship typically may be up to 40 hours per work week.
• Internship does not provide housing stipend/allowance.

Location:
• The primary location for this position is at the Johnston, IA headquarters with occasional travel to the
Boone Wholesale offices.
