Hours: Monday - Friday 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm & every other SA/SU

The following job description is only the primary means by which this will be accomplished.

Position Summary:
Under general supervision of a supervisor, and in accordance with local, state, federal and company laws and regulations pre-pack all medications for further distribution.

Responsibilities/Duties:
Perform duties assigned by the supervisor and/or licensed pharmacist.Receive incoming medications from Purchasing Department.Transfer medications from bottles to the appropriate number of bingo and blister cards.Responsible for the maintenance of pre-packing equipment (e.g. changes brushes and clean equipment when packing different medication)Label bingo and blister cards appropriately. Transport pre-pack medication, checked by the pharmacists, to the pharmacy area.Perform Pharmacy Technician duties when necessary and during a slow time.Continue to educate by attending drug in-services and by keeping up with policy changes. Clean and help maintain equipment and work areas according to prescribed methods.Perform other duties as requested.
