Job Description:

We are seeking a Plant Team - Pipe member for our customer, County Materials in Springfield, IL.

The Plant Team - Pipe plan and produce concrete pipe and structures for inventory and for specific jobs.

Job Duties:
Set up and clean up steel pallets for concrete moldsCut, bend and place welded wire mesh and steel rebarPrepare forms for filling concreteClean up and maintain equipment after daily runsAssemble forms & molds for concrete productionGeneral facility maintenance and housekeepingPerforms general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materialsRelies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the jobOther tasks as needed

Work Environment:
Work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions, including extreme hot or cold temperaturesWork near moving machinery and equipment - could include electrical hazardsWork in a noisy environment

Physical Requirements:
Carrying / Lifting 10 - 40 Pounds frequentlyCarrying / Lifting > 40 Pounds occasionallyStanding / Walking / ClimbingSquatting / Crouching / Kneeling / BendingPushing / Pulling / Reaching Above Shoulder

Experience & Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old.0-2 years of related experienceKnowledge of commonly used industry concepts, practices, and procedures preferredExercise good judgment regarding work site unloading and operationAbility to perform well as a teamSelf motivator and must be flexible in order to accommodate needs of your teamSafety minded when performing tasksAbility and willingness to learn and be trained
