Description: Our client is currently seeking a Tax Manager - Reverse Tax. Previous experience with Big 4 tax or similar client centric / consultancy background required.
Responsibilities:
Tax Compliance and Optimization:
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize liabilities, considering reverse sales tax, use tax, and other indirect taxes.
Compliance Assurance: Oversee the preparation and review of sales tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timely filings.
Risk Management: Identify compliance risks and proactively address them.
Client Engagement and Consultation:
Needs Assessment: Collaborate with clients to understand their business operations, industry nuances, and tax challenges.
Custom Solutions: Tailor tax strategies to align with client goals and optimize tax positions.
Education: Explain complex tax concepts to clients in a clear and actionable manner.
Audits and Disputes:
Audit Management: Represent clients during sales tax audits, ensuring effective communication with auditors and accurate data.

Qualifications:

Certifications: CPA certification preferred.
