Location: Walkerville, MT

Salary: $80,000.00 USD Annually - $125,000.00 USD Annually

Description:
We've partnered with an engineering firm who is looking for a motivated Controls Engineer to join their organization. This role offers diverse opportunities in new product development within a technologically advanced organization.


Requirements:

• US Citizen.


• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent engineering discipline.


• Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical/controls engineering.


• Enthusiastic, team player.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to defining product requirements and design documentation.


• Develop hardware definitions for new products, including wiring schematics and component specifications.


• Work independently with minimal oversight, handling troubleshooting, installation, and customer support.


• Support in-house automated product testers and participate in data acquisition projects.


• Develop project schedules, coordinate team activities, and track technical status.


• Familiarity with PLC programming, C# .NET development, control system installation, and motion control systems is essential.

Preferred Experience:

• Embedded C programming, ARM Cortex M series development.


• Understanding of electronic systems at the circuit board level.


• National Instruments Data Acquisition Hardware, LabVIEW, and TestStand Software.


• Hazardous Location Machine Design.


• Custom control algorithm development.
