GPIhas an immediate opening for a Transportation Engineer in our Philadelphia, PA office to work on project teams to help further the growth and development ofGPI's transportation design presence in the region. We are looking for an individual ready to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplined team of engineers in a growing office environment.GPIhas numerous interesting and challenging projects involving all types of traffic and transportation engineering analysis and design. Responsibilities:

• Deliver projects for local and state clients such as the City of Philadelphia Streets Department


• Build effective client relationships by working collaboratively with the client & multidiscipline teams


• Prepare and complete engineering designs that are responsive to project needs


• Complete tasks within the assigned schedule and budget


• Develop project design criteria, calculations, details, and estimates


• Mentor staff in the advancement of transportation design

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field


• 10+ years' experience in Transportation and Traffic Engineering preferred


• PE license is required


• Preferred experience in aspects of traffic analysis and/or transportation design


• Preferred experience with transportation modeling software


• Leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final consideration


• Read, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English language


• Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team members


• Able to wear GPI required PPE, i.e., hard hats, safety vest, work boots, and/or safety glasses/goggles while working
