They self-perform all of their work in the heavy civil sector, which includes highway, bridge and road construction projects. They have an excellent reputation in the market and a solid pipeline of work. Their project values are from $250K to $20Mill. Due to continual growth and internal development, there is an opening for an experienced Project Administrator/Project Coordinator who is looking to take the next step in their career.



Your new role
Your role as a project engineer will be to work closely with the civil construction team and the VP of construction throughout the lifecycle of the project. Your day-to-day duties will consist of liaising with project managers and superintendents, coordinating with subcontractors reporting on cost and schedules, as well as assisting with change orders and invoices, with change orders. You will also be required to troubleshoot any issues and work on solutions to key problems. This position is ideal for someone who wants to work as part of a close-knit team and move up quickly in an organization.



What you'll need to succeed


You will come with at least 3 years' experience working as a project engineer for a civil construction organization. A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management would be looked upon favorably. You will be looking to join a close-knit team where you can grow and develop your long-term career.
