The Engineering CAD Systems Administrator is responsible for the installation, set up, maintenance and administration of all manufacturing and product design software. Responsible for ensuring the software is functioning according to the organizations needs and vision. Responsible for monitoring all updates, upgrades and keeping all users in sync. Responsible for the creation of all software driven workflows and training users as required. This position is responsible for the creation of documentation related to software set up and usage as required by the organization. Along with the software administration duties, this position is responsible for overseeing the creation of content such as built-in/custom libraries, templates, and proper usage of manufacturing software is adhered to. Policing of content and communication with users and/or managers/team leaders as required to ensure compliance with company standards is maintained.



MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS



Education: Minimum of Associate's Degree (2 year) in Mechanical Design or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science


Experience: 10 years of Inventor, 10 years of Vault


Travel: 10-25%


Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Manages the creation, documentation, and enforcement of company CAD standards.

  • Manages and delivers the training of users as required.

  • Monitors all installs, updates, account creation and access.

  • Maintains software to ensure proper function, and continued production of content.

  • Oversees the creation of content such as built-in/custom libraries, templates, and proper usage of manufacturing software is adhered to.

  • Ensures compliance with FTI's standards.

  • Actively participates in Faith's hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate.

  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned
