Job Description:


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in San Francisco, CA that is seeking a Program Manager.

Responsibilities:


  • Apply Agile project management techniques, methods, and tools to ensure project success

  • Develop and manage detailed project work plans for assigned projects

  • Proactively and aggressively manage project risk and issues; defining mitigation efforts

  • Make recommendations to IT and business management regarding prioritization and resource allocation with input from team members

  • Escalate project related risks and issues to appropriate levels of management

  • Leverage innovative critical thinking approaches to solve problems

  • Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional teams by overseeing the progress of projects with regard to time, scope, and quality and budget

  • Build effective partnerships with the developers, architects, quality, and product managers.

  • Effectively collaborate in a highly matrixed organization and gain the trust of others; This includes building effective partnerships with stakeholders: including the development staff, business owners and senior management, and other project managers

  • When required, develop Project option summaries, decision documents and recommendations and present to key decision makers

  • Expected to manage projects that span multiple groups and time zones, including offshore resources







REQUIREMENTS:



  • 10+ years of Agile Project/Program Management experience and managing large, highly visible technology projects, within a retail environment

  • Project experience related to ecommerce and websites - customer experience and shopping online

  • Strong experience planning and managing cross functional programs across the organization

  • Skilled at managing multiple projects in parallel (within one program) - managing interdependencies, implications, lots of sequencing for parallel projects, prioritization

  • Clear, articulate communication skills

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Able to work cross functionally with Product and Engineering teams

  • Confident and mature attitude






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
